OK. I took 2 years of spanish in high school back in the late 80s. I can't speak a word of it. I was making my tea this morning at speedway and these 3 mexicans walk in and they are jabbering up a storm. The only words I understood were quatro and aqui. They went on and on about something but even the spanish they were speaking was slurred.
Rant over......

I picked up on some spanish when I lived in AZ.

There are two different types of spanish. What you learn from a book, and the other you learn from the streets.I lived at 27th ave and camelback. It was a pretty rough neighborhood. So I learned quick.

Keith, taking spanish that long ago and not remembering any of it doesn't have to do with age. I took two semesters of it in high school when I was a freshmen and sophmore, and I still don't remember anything of it. Makes you feel kinda left out, doesn't it?
