My sister works at a Kroger in Dayton and someone mail her a letter to the store the other day. She is freaked out about, the person signed it with an email address. Is there a way to figure out who a person is by looking into the email address? These days she had good reason to worry. She works customer service and she closes some nights. The Krogers isnt in a very good area. Thank you

Yes it was sent to the store, it had att: tammy in customer service. It wasnt threatening at all, its just a little weird. It was actually a nice letter, well it would be a nice letter if it was coming from someone she knows. It said he was a customer of Krogers.

Well, might be just a shy dude, that feels too embarrassed to talk to her.

I think calling the police will get her nowhere. I'm NOT saying that it is bad idea, either. (just in case)

It wasn't my email address, was it?

At least let management know about it and that she is a little freaked out. Her boss may want to call the police as just a liability issue. My .02

its all depending on the context, was it business? or asking her out ect? just like we will have people write letters to our office to complain or compliment rather than call, the world is becoming less "personal" by the day

Well it wasnt business, and he didnt ask her out. It was kind of like poetry, saying real nice things about her. Just very weird, he at least shouldve put his name on it. Krogers has Dayton cops as secruity, so she is going to get with them tomorrow about it. I just thought maybe you could get a persons name from an email address.

Try searching in Myspace or Faceboook by typing in his email address. Maybe he has a page and there is a pic so she at least knows who to look out for.

Before too long he might be standing out in the parking lot with a boombox above his head playing a Peter Gabriel song!

Not really family history , I need to read it again. She works at the one on Smithville.

Definately get the police involved, have a report filed. Kroger should have some type of corporate security that should look into this also.

honestly bro its just google and a little hacking sense.

I would have broken in to his email had I known his dogs name lol. I successfully guessed his home zipcode (based on the contents the OP's post) and his birthdate was posted on some UD forum. Having those 2 peices of info allowed to me (almost) reset his yahoo mail password.
