had access to a Toyota dealership...I sure would be more comfortable buying from someone I know. That way I know if he told me something it would be true and if a deal was made it would not change when I got there to pick up the vehicle.

American Made with American parts by American workers.......and a GLOBAL name based in Japan.

The Big three should have paid attention, although it does look like Ford is doing the best.

Although I have been eyeballing the Focus :)

Yup, more and more "imports" are built in the US while the big three are assembling cars in Canada, Mexica, Brazil, etc.

Ever replaced brakelines on a F-150???

Can't stop the truck.....but then again with a Chevy you don't have to worry about it ever going anywhere (fuel pump)............

Wrong, my 02 Gmc 2500 has only needed a battery and tires. I dare you to find a Ford truck 6 years old that can say that.

You won't find a F150/Explorer/Expedition, maybe a F250, but I doubt it.

My F250 is a 1996 and I just now had to replace the batteries in it. Only one had a dead cell and the other was fine...It also has only 84,000 on it and is a PSD.

I had a Tundra made in Kentucky and a Ram made in Mexico.

That being said, if I was in the market for a new truck I would probably buy a Silverado Hybrid.

How did you get a tundra made in kentucky i work for a toyota dealership and only seen them made in texas? At any rate though i would rather have the tundra but to each his own i guess. As for wanting a tundra stroked4eyes your gonna get a decent deal at any toyota dealer you cant hardly give those things away since their so expensive and no one has any money to spare.

I may be biased but there isn't a truck built as good as the f150 IMO mayme that's cuz I sit through the classes where the toyota frame slides through the insideof the ford. Or where the tailgates had to be reinforced from bowing from putting stuff on them. And if you could see the bid of the ford chev n toy at the testing ground with all the bumps and watching the other 2 flaling around like a psycho chic having an orgasm. You might think different

I love the f150's and would buy one of those before a tundra not only because of the money your going to save but it does have a good amount of towing capabilities also just because who doesnt love a ford . But as far as buying a chevy over a tundra it would be hands down the tundra because they just seem to hold up better than the new chevys and the customer service seems to be more in it for toyota than chevy, I cant tell you how many parts for people at toyota we replaced because of good will when their way out of warranty.Or how quickly that tailgate thing was addressed and fixed or what about toyota stepping up to the plate to buy back millions and millions of dollars worth of trucks back because they made a mistake and were willing to admit it. So that in its self shows that your gonna get something people are going to stand behind for a long time and some people like those facts. Though theres good and bad in all companies i guess it all goes back to personal opinion.

I have seen those same things Beef...a buddy works for Ford....and I have only ever owned F150 or bigger Fords my entire life. The issue I have is with the uncomfortable ass seats in the new F150's (I had an 05) when I am towing to a track farther than 30 minutes away it just kills my back...maybe I am just old!

i saw in the paper today that there has been more f150's sold than any other american car/truck. my cousin has a 89 f150 since it was new and all has ever did was regular maintance on it and it has never left him stranded.
