When you started your battery had a dull sheen to it, now, it has a bright sheen. I've just never seen any one put engine bay dressing on their battery before. It looks good, homie.

Went to a car show once and talked to an old guy about his car. Under the hood of his vette was gorgeous. He said he would get the motor hot and pull the car in his garage over a piece of cardboard. Spray an entire bottle of Armor All on the engine and engine bay and close the hood. He swore the heat would clean and strip any dirt out of the engine bay. I never tried it, but damn did his looked nice!
Your car does look good man!

thanks man. alot of help has come from this help. :bigthumb
i dont see how the heat would help and if it was already dirty it would still be dirty i would think? i just cleaned everything off then sprayed it on there and let it dry.

I would be willing to bet that like 99% of the buy-here-pay-here lots do the same thing. This is why you can never be too sure about how well an engine has been taken care of...since it only takes a power washer and some tire foam to make even a 200k mile engine look new again.

That looks great Ryan. At least you got to drive yours this year. Mine's sat in the same spot since the fall cruise the year before. :( Although I'm almost positive I'll be beating the crap out of it come this spring!! I can't wait! AND, on the meeting you thingy...Um hello?! I not only introduced myself to you, I also pointed out who other people were that had posted up on your thread AND told them where to find you! I'm looking forward to seeing it next year since you've been able to get your hands on it! If I can drag my eyes off my own. :D
