Does anyone is there a difference between the 2 of these trannny's as far as rebuilding them and tearing them down goes?

Well, they're totally different tranys? I'd say pretty much everything is different but i'm no trans guy.

The tremec is actually easier to rebuild because of the way it comes apart.

+1 on the Tremec being easyier

If you can build any manual trans they are all about %99 the same. They are the same concept.

Yes,. they are easier to get apart, but you will develop upper body strength working on one! They are very heavy duty, which spells everything weighing more. Also, parts are about double that of a T5 in price.
