Surgery - Wednesday

Hello Bangerz!

As some of you remember I went on a little hospital vacation before turkey day at Jewish hospital. While there they discovered a couple things wrong with me (:lol:). Most of which were cured by antibotics. Tomorrow (wednesday) at 1:30pm I go in for surgery. They found a 'mass' in my chest and the doctor would like to remove it. They do NOT believe it to be cancer but cannot rule it out until they get a better biopsy. We all agreed it needs to go. (i've nicknamed it Fred!) It's about a 2/3 hour procedure. I will be staying in the hospital until the weekend most likely. Or until I can manage the pain with oral drugs and not the morphine. I'm sure that Scott or Nancy will update you all when I am out of surgery.

I'm asking you all to say a prayer, offer up good thoughts whatever not only for me but Alan (my hubby) and my children. They will once again be without mommy for a couple days. :eek:

Nancy and I just got home sorry to keep you all waiting... Alan told us that the surgery went fine and that "Fred" was removed and sent out for testing, he did say they were 95% sure it was just a tumor not cancer!!!

thanks for all the wishes and prayers! i had the drain tubes removed this afternoon and sadly my epidural for pain. wounds are healing well. thet are happy with my progress. now its just a wait too see if i can manage the pain with percoset. so far eh eh. but i just started it. hopefully tomorrow i can go home to finish recovering. will have test results mon/tue. as far as the scar...i was in a bar fight!
