is there a distribution prob. with cyl. 5?
i eventually burnt a piston last season, its the second cyl. back on the intake so i thought that ruled out it being farthest forward.
it does have the air temp sensor in that runner would that have any effect?
i was thinkin about relocating that into the inlet pipe for a cleaner reading.
its a edel perf rpm intake by the way.
maybe a week injector? 30lber's by the way, the a/f ratio looked good on the dyno.
any suggestions welcome

#5 always seems to be the problem. I think there are a lot of compounded issues for it though.

Well, I may have an answer for you. You mean it is the second cylinder back on the intake, correct? The IAT really isn't a contributing factor. If you have the upper intake off, shine a light down that hole and you will see the problem. The runner goes forward, but the head's intake port angles towards the rear. Also, if you look into the runner as I mentioned, you will see that only a tiny portion of the upper corner of the head port is visible. Since air wants to travel in a straight line, that effects the volume of flow that makes it past the injector to carry the fuel in. Since you are spraying a wet kit, the fuel will not make turns as well as the nitrous/air combo and it will go lean. A/F ratio gauges are worthless unless it is in that specific cylinder's tube. Stick to less than a 200 shot wet and your problems will go away. Also, run a colder plug in #5 than all the rest. People have tried everything from running a larger injector in that cylinder to pulling more timing out of the tune, and it still has problems.
Solution is to run a plate system or to use a digital 7 programmable ignition so you can pull timing out of that cylinder. When I ran a plate, I had 0 issues with #5. That is why my car uses a dry kit, and when there's fuel in my tank it works great! That way I can add extra fuel through the tune in that cylinder and pull timing out as well, and I don't have to worry about fuel falling out of suspension in the upper intake or runners. You will still have issues with #5 on a street style intake, but not as exaggerated as with a wet kit. Hope this helps.

not shure but seemed to work on my car, crossfire in the plug wires, just making shure there not together and not touching any metal?

so if the intake is the prob., which one solves that or is there one ?
or do they all have this prob.?
how about like a converted vic jr.? or a box upper?
im wanting to run a little more not step it down.
it didnt do it all the time.
