I was thinking about purchasing one of these for my 6.0 L Ford F-250. Do they work? Any downsides? Can you run them on High performance at all times?

Just buy the SCT Xcal 2. I looked forever before buying mine and so far I have had nothing but good luck. With just the tuner my truck has been 14.19@96mph and I picked up 3mpg

Also my tuner has custom tunes from Eric@innovative diesel performance out of maryland. Everyone from powerstrokenation.com said he was one of the best

I heard that SCT programmers were one of the best for the 6.0's. You can run it on high performance at all times and you will actually get the best fuel mileage on that setting, IF you keep your foot out of it. We can get the SCT programmer at Cincy Speed.

The factory SCT tunes suck. For the same money you can pick what tunes you want from innovative which are much better custom tunes.

Sct with elite diesel custom tuning is the only way to go when it comes to six liter tuning! Terry call me if you have any questions with this stuff.

Wrong. That's the 7.3 chip. They don't have very good 6.0 tunes anyways.
