I know it's a long shot since it's about a two hour drive for most of you... but if any of you need to get any testing in, here you go!

I NEED to get in one or two passes to finish my 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords article. Craig Boone at London Dragway in London, Ky said he'd give us a special rate. This Saturday we can rent the track like 10-2pm. He needs $400 and we'd need to bring two generators. It'll be 50° and sunny. This is the kinda weather that brings KILLER ETs.

I'm willing to pay more money than other people since I'm the one that NEEDS to get some passes in... but if you guys will go in on it with me, it'll ease my financial burden, plus you'll get in some passes in KILLER weather without waiting all day.

Post up or PM me and we'll make this happen.

Don't forget, we need two generators, so if anybody has one, please let me know!!!

Yeah, it's a bit of a haul... but on the bright side, fireworks will be provided for your entertainment. (stock 302 + ATI ProCharger F1R = fireworks) :D

It's not a bad drive. The dragstrip is right off of I-75.

4 hours in a car with no interior and half the stereo missing....sounds like loads of fun.

It could have been! If Spec and your motor mount guy would have gotten their heads out of their arses!!!

MMR makes a plate kit for $80. It takes some butchering, but they work.

rented BG instead. 40° and no track prep, me sittin' on radials. 11.36@122 with a 1.71 short time. It was like driving on ice.

122mph....that is very close to 10 second power. Get that 60' down in the low 1.5's....10.99 is possible.

yeah, I calculated I'd need at least a 1.55 to hit the number. The car's got a 1.55 in it... just not that track on that day. I told Turner I'd take another shot at it, but he said to write the article as is. I'm hoping to start on phase three asap, but we'll see.

BTW, the 122 was on 12lbs on 93 octane pump gas.
