.....My New Toy.

[Note: change in username.]

Well here she is sitting next to the old car on Saturday, which it is already weird not having it around....

I've gone from a car that is bad in snow/rain to a car that is WORSE in snow/rain! But I'd like to think it will be worth it.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3255/3092746222_b47dc8b018.jpg?v=0

I'm already trying to plan her future! And you will definitely find me at the track next year, which I have been looking forward to for a long time.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3158/3092746962_61d5e67732.jpg?v=0

Right now, it's pretty simple... completely stock and the only options I have are: mycolor guages (hence the hot pink!), interior upgrade pkg and rear spoiler delete. I might hold off on exterior upgrades for now and spend the money under the hood instead. First, I'd like to get a cai and either borla off road headers and x pipe or roush off road headers....but we will see! After that, gears and ???

What do you think Ladies and Gents?

Here are a couple more pics and a link to see some I took yesterday! :bigthumb

Yep, I definitely plan on getting one. Just trying to decide which one would be the best! SCT seems to have some good ones, and my boyfriend has a hypertech programmer that is pretty nice.

Thanks guys! If all else, I'd like to blackout my tails and buy a blackout panel for the back, even if I don't do any other exterior changes for a while.

I'm a sucker for tinted tail lights... okay, tinted everything actually. I just wish it was warmer outside because I'd like to tint them again with VHT Niteshades. I loved how they turned out on my Acura... even better than if had I bought them that way.

I think if i got one of those cars, the very first thing i would do is get some lowering springs on it...i just hate how high they sit and lowering them really makes the whole car look better.

True, but I plan on getting a body kit... Chris' roush isn't lowered and it about scrapes the ground, so I'll hold off on those. I agree though if it's just kept stock.

Ah, I see now, said the blind man. Good eye!

So what's first on the mod list?

PONYGRL
12-10-2008, 02:24 PM
I haven't bought anything yet, other than Roush pedals, but when I have the money...

I'd like to get an intake and power programmer... that's very is first on my list +improve my mpg.

I need to think of some vanity plate ideas though. Any suggestions/ideas?

I was thinking to get something that correlates with Chris' but literally everything is taken already... Something like HIZTOY & HERTOY would be awesome ;) but that won't be available in our lifetime probably. HER08 and HIS06 we could do...but that's boring if you ask me.

At this point, I'll probably just do my own thing.
I thought about PNYGRL (like my usename) and it is available!
Others: FSTPNY, SXYPNY, CTCHME, BLUPNY, MYPNYY.

I live in KY and here is where you can check availability. Keep in mind we only get 6 characters, which includes spaces.

http://mvl.ky.gov/MVLWeb/PPServlet?PPPlateId=53&matchtype=

I'm also going to get a decal made for my 3rd bakelight... I was thinking "badass gt," "badass" or just "mustang."

http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/images/8d_1_b.jpg

What all do you think? I need to make up my mind soon.

Congrats....

Spoiler Delete :bigthumb

Just throw some weight in the trunk for the winter and you'll be fine, make sure it has some decent rubber. If your cars a Limited slip it will help a lot as well.

I drove my Gt for 4 years without any problem in the snow. The only time I ever had a problem was when my side pipes were dragging thru the snow (you cold see my mufflers make a path in the road... somewhat entertaining) due to depth.

Have fun and keep it shiny side up, and all sides shiny.

It was the 6 spd Type-S.... And still like-new. But what's done is done I guess, and now I have the Mustang.

Yesterday, Chris and I randomly drove up past Columbus and were gone most of the day. He bought me some new parts for my new toy though......

It's been a while since I last posted anything about my car but it is coming together, slowly but surely. I really need to post some pics up.

Anyway, Chris and I are just now starting to put our parts on and last wk, Chris put on my roush wing and hood scoop. I should hav louvers next week and also bought a roush short throw shifter over the weekend. That will be Chris' and I also bought a hurst short throw so I can't wait to get it and have it installed as well. We are also putting on my roush fascia hopefully this weekend as long as isn't too hard. Looking for a bumper as well, then I will be getting everything painted, getting my stripes installed (hopefully) and blacking out my tails and possibly attempting to paint my wheels, since I am broke and can't afford new ones...

Other than that, we put a roush off road exhaust on and I got my k&n intake... shortly after I got my car. + some other exterior stuff- headlight splitters, cdc seq. tail lights, etc.

I am hoping my car will be done by the cruise-in but it is hard to say. We are still hunting for a couple other things, so hopefully I dont have to show up with no bumper.

All I know is that 2 new mustangs is making us poor!!
