Our Dell laptop has died. When it goes to boot up it says it has a disk error. Does anyone know a good place to get it looked at? I called Microcenter and all they do is send it back to Dell.

I'll fix it for $50. New OS installed, data backed up, Anti virus etc thrown in, office 2007.

Sounds like your hard drive is toast. I would not recommend just trying to reload Windows on it. You will want to put a new hard drive in it and then reload like Paul had mentioned. If he doesn't to it, I would be more than happy to take care of it for you. I have rebuilt plenty PCs/laptops for other 'bangerz. :bigthumb
