Fricken' thing sounds like a jet airplane taking off!!

I need to install the AutoMeter WideBand, put a tune in the thing, and pray for a ten second ET!!! :cool1:

It sounds like the devil...I love it!

If you are moving enough air to require an F1R, 10 second ETs wont be a problem. If you are questioning hitting 10s, an F1 might be a little much.

That adds a whole new meaning to when they say "its a screamer". Can't wait for the next installment Sharad. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. Yeah, an F1R is overkill for the stock motor... as is the fuel system and the ignition. It was done this way strictly for entertainment purposes. (to see how far we could take the stock motor) With any luck, we'll be starting the engine build here in the next few weeks. [fingers crossed]

Thanks a lot. I can't wait to finish this article, but I need to track test it and Turner wants a dyno report this time... so... I'll have to get that stuff in before I start writing.

Yeah, that's a ProCharger for you. You either love em or you hate em. I fricken LOVE the sound. It sounds like an NMRA race in my garage!! :cool1:

LOL! I need to find that Ying Yang Twins song "Whistle While You Twerk"! That would be funny to listen to cruising this car.

That sounds insane! No sleeper there:lol:

:D  My dad said the same thing! I'll have to click it off and coast into the cruise spots if I don't want any attention.

Hehehe... thanks guys. I just can't wait to drive it! I'm finishing up the gauges now. I was hoping to do some 3rd & 4th gear pulls on the highway to tune it with the PMS and the WideBand, but it hasn't stopped raining all day. :(

LOL! Special Thanks to YOU Rob. I still can't believe how pretty it looks. It's a shame to cover it up with the bumper cover. I took some nice high-res pics to show off your work!

Thanks, I hope so! Rick Anderson is sending me a custom tune today... It should be safe to drive tonight! (well, maybe if it wasn't snowing here)

I'm hoping to dyno it tomorrow and find an open dragstrip on Saturday!

Done.

(this is right before I put the fender liners back in, put the wheels back on, put it back on the ground, and put the hood on)

So tonight I loaded a custom tune into the PMS from Rick Anderson at Anderson Ford Motorsport. Considering that it's like thirty something degrees outside, the tune seems pretty close. The bad news is, our guess on pulley size was way off. I have three different blower pulleys. I started with the middle one but it was only making 7-8lbs of boost. I drove home, swapped on the smallest one and that upped it to 10-11 pounds of boost. Looks like I need the next one smaller to hit my goal of 15 pounds. I'm estimating it'll take 15 pounds of boost to make it into the tens in the quarter. I've got the fuel and ignition to support it, so I should just be a pulley swap away!

I'll post updates as I get them.
