I just realized that I have never done a build thread here about my project. I'll get a little background out of the way first.
I bought my 05 back in July 05 and the mods started shortly after that. New wheels/tires mufflers, midpipe, shifter and some body mods and were based on a BOSS 302 theme. My dad owned several BOSS's over the years including a Yellow 69 that also helped me choose the color of my car.

About this time I decided i wanted to build up the car past the point of the average bolt on car. At that point I wanted a stroker 4.6 with a Kenne Bell 2.4 on it (biggest out at the time). I was already in contact with Dayton Performance who already did the tuning, and shifter install to begin a build.
It took me a while to build up the funds but parts slowly started to build up. While I was doing this I decided I was going to build up the rest of the car in preparation for the power that I planned on making in the future so that I wouldn't have to worry about breaking stock parts. Along the lines I added 4.30 gears, Moser 31 spline axles, HPM lower control arms Mac Long Tubes Mac O/R Prochamber, CMCP deletes, and a Viper Spec T56. Later on the T56 came out and was replaced with a TR6060 from a GT500. The car has been a best of a 12.85@106mph two years ago when the T56 was still in the car.
Fast forward a bit and we have my current project. I decided to drop the Kenne Bell in favor of the Procharger route. This decision was made for several reasons including that up till very recently you couldn't get the 2.8H or Whipple 3.4 for a 3v. An F1a Procharger was then selected as the power adder of choice.
Now why is this project called Corn Fed? Well that is pretty simple. My fuel of choice for this build is going to be E85. It's readily available in Southern Ohio, 105 octane, has a larger tuning window than straight gasoline, and is TONS cheaper than race fuel. I have been running my car on E85 since last spring while still n/a. The car runs exactly like when it was on 93 octane and the exhaust smells better!
Now on to the specs of the build.
Engine:
Teksid 4.6 block bored 0.20 over
Forged stroker crank
I-beam rods
Custom CP Pistons
stock heads and cams (temporary measure to save a few bills and keep the power down some while I grow into it)
Meziere electric water pump
Canton Oil Pan
Stock intake with CMCP deletes
stock throttle body
Mac Long Tube Headers
Mac O/R prochamber
Bassani Axle backs
Supercharger:
Procharger F1a
12-rib drive belt
800+ HP intercooler
Race bypass valve
Fuel System:
Fore Precision Billet triple pump fuel hat
(3) Ford GT fuel pumps
MDM Megadriver module for the GT pumps
#8 line to the rails
Fore Precision Billet Fuel Rails
60lb injectors (just want to see how much we can run with them then upgrade to large units as needed)
Drive line:
TR6060 6-speed
Pro 5.0 shifter
Spec Stage 3+ 26 spline clutch
Spec Aluminum Flywheel
Dynotech 3.5" aluminum driveshaft
Detroit Tru-Trac Differential
Moser 31 Spline axles
Suspension:
BMR k-member
BMR A-arms
BMR front swaybar delete
BMR extreme anti rollbar
HPM lower control arms
Right now the motor is complete and awaiting motor mounts before the drive train is dropped back into the car and the engine is broken in n/a. Then the new fuel system gets installed and then finally the F1. I have a bunch of pictures to add in a few days when I get some more extra time. I might even take Mike Bell's suggestion and find a track down South that is still open and try to make a few passes once everything is together.
