I've been looking for a better street wheel for my car tonight. I'd really like to have a set of BBS wheels for it, but I did run across some pictures of a guys white couple with Alumastars on it that look pretty sweet. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure I've ever seen those on the back of a car. Are they new?

That white notch looks darn good . . . and so do the BBS and CCW rims. All of those look great. Depending on size, I know the CCWs allow for bigger brakes as opposed to some BBS. As an example 18x8.5" BBS RKs can not run the 2000 Cobra R front set-up, however 18" CCW Classics (and others) can.

If you look closely I believe those are 2 different wheels all together.

I think there is just more meat in the stars of the rear wheels to support the rest of the rim.

Here's a deep BBS RK

ROB@RIGID is doing the work. But I believe the overall is 54"

Those RKs look very cool. Will look better under your Stang cause its been Mini_tubbed.:bigthumb

Well, I can't get the dish I'd like to have because my rearend was only cut 3/4" per side. I should have gone 1.5" in hindsight.

I like the RKs, only for one reason.

The Alumistars shown, in the first pics..... the rears look too whimpy, for my taste.

Luke's car definitely is badass. I remember when he first got those.

I thought the Alumastars were discontinued? I remember the black 86 coupe in the mags had those same wheels but they were a one off custom set.

I have alumastars on my car...unfortunately only my garage walls have had the luxury of enjoying them...lol

I think they are to skinny in the rear. It kinda looks like someone photochopped them from the front to the back

If what I read was right, they don't make the RK's anymore. I looked for a bit tonight and found these that look pretty sweet.
