My father is doing a restoration on a 1963 GMC truck and we've found another truck we'd like to buy in Washington. Any idea how to get it hauled here the cheapest? We're not even sure this would be feasible.

my friend bought a car off of ebay once and had it shipped here, make sure its in a closed in trailer.
1 its going to come through some nasty weather, and 2 his got rock chips all over it. car just looked all around nasty when it got here.

Yeah, this wouldn't matter to be an open carrier. It's an inoperable truck sitting in a field. However, it looks like it's got a good hood, grill, bumpers, etc which will save a ton of money if I can get it shipped cheap enough.

I've heard that DAS is fairly reasonable. I think you can pick whether you want to ship enclosed or not.

I used www.goldenkeyexpress.com (http://www.goldenkeyexpress.com) when I had my 26 Ford shipped here form California, Harold took very good care of me and was very reasonable he even wrapped the car in shrink wrap and put it right behind the tractor for me to keep it clean and dry.

We used DAS to ship James' Mustang. They were great and reasonable.

There's a pretty nice early or mid 60s GMC truck For Sale up here in Troy right now. It's sitting at Seaman's Transmission. IIRC, the asking price was around $4500 or so.

Here's the # (937)339-7551. Ask for Glenn. Tell him Eric told you to call.
