Heya all,
I have an 89 GT with 180k miles on it. It's a 5 speed with light mods, including a b-cam, 3.73 gears, longtubes and dumped flowmasters. The engine was rebuilt approximately 45k miles ago, and the tranny was done less than 5k miles ago, but the guy didn't replace the 4th gear synchro, so it grinds if you shift quickly into 4th.
It drives nice, and at the $2000 price point it will come with hurricane or turbine wheels with really nice tires on them.
The interior is decent, but does have a hole in the carpet where the driver's heel goes and a worn spot in the driver's side bolster. The headliner is intact, but needs new material. Ashtry door and ashtray missing. The air is intact (just needs charged) cruise, rear defrost works, hatch cover included, plastic all in great shape.
Very good driver for this kind of money. The front bumper is crunched under the pass side headlight and it has a small spot of rust above driver's quarter. Otherwise, floors, strut towers and hatch are all perfect.
$2000 is a firm price, but this is a nice car. If I can't get that out of it, I'll just keep it. I would trade for a decent supercharged W-body GM or a nice Explorer.
