I think with an auto trans and any cam, you have to run some kind of stall. or maybe it's something where you should run a stall or you'll have driveability issues...
If it were me.... I'd put a stock cam in it with 1.72's, it'll run better, idle/drive better and get better fuel economy... :bigthumb
9.3 : 1 compression isn't all that great for that f cam either, if I remember right.... :lol:

you can run the f cam but a Stall is recommended for maximum performance.
I really liked the E cam in my old 5.0l set up I had in the mAv I ran a 3500 stall

My brother runs an F cam in a 5 speed car. It doesn't even start pulling hard till around 3000. So I would imagine you would need a stall in that rpm range.

Most def' need a stall.Usually anything over 220 duration the stock converter wont like it.
