i came awful close, and ken said he could probably tweek it a bit, but he's been working overtime so i figured i'd be happy with 588 / 502

car is a safe 11.0 and still making power at redline, i'll try to romp on her a bit tomorrow and see how she feels, track is closed for cold til next week, bummer

i'll get a better copy of the dyno too

thanks to andy for the install and ken for working on the bugs and the tune

Congrats Beef. You will learn that you don't race dyno #'s, they are just a reference point and a tuning tool.;)

Why do your TQ and HP lines cross at 6200 rpm ?? I thought they should always cross at 5250 ??

It is showing hp and torque . The graph may look a little different because if you notice 1 side the hp numbers vs the other side tq numbers are on 2 different sets of numbers . If the numbers were the same on both sides things would look a little different . They do cross about 5200 if you change the graph around . Look closely and youll see what I am talking about.

Beefcake, in your sig it says 559 rwhp, what did you change to gain the extra hp?

I don't see it. I turn my monitor around and all I see is black. Do I need to flip it upside down?

Nice numbers Terry!

Look at the numbers on the side of the graphs right and left . The top number on the left is 700 which is for the hp side , the right side at the top shows 600 which is for the torque numbers . If both graphs for hp (left) and tq (right) showed 700 as the top numbers the torque numbers would actually be further down on the pict . The lighter line which is the tq number would be lower on the graph but the hp would stay in the same spot . Then the 2 would intersect about 5250 . It just looks misleading because the hp and tq numbers are on 2 different settings . Try to picture moving the lighter line (tq) about an inch lower all across the board to match the numbers side to side and picture where the intersect would be then .

The 559 was when we were having ignition issues. After a week of trying to track down an electrical issue it wound up being a very small crack in one of the spark plugs.

Rocky is right. Scales are different. I usually lock the scale down but for some reason I didn't have it that way.

Terry, I'll export a better graph right from the dyno software and post a link to it better tomorrow.

I have seen that before.... looking and looking for the reason a car is breaking up and finding a hair line crack in the porcelin part of the plug.
