2008 Mustang GT C/S vs. 2008 Mustang GT?

So im down here at training and was just out at a bar and a guy in my squad was there. We get along good, but he thinks his stock 08 Mustang GT C/S can beat my 08 Mustang GT and that his STOCK exhaust sounds just like my Borla system. He was under the influence of alcohol at the time, but it just goes to show how ignant and cocky people can be sometimes, especially after they have been drinking. Furthermore, his friend drove him back here to post and they were intent on waiting up so that we could street race. I dont do that anymore so I kept telling him I was out. Luckily (for me at least) his buddy whom I was driving back to the barracks needed me to stop so he could puke. After we returned he still said he wanted to go out racing. Doggone it people no means no! Lol.

Is there anything different on a C/S, other than appearance?? If not, its a drivers race.

I dont think there is except for the appearance. I think he was just drunk and feeling iron tough lol.

Lol I was tempted, but like I said I dont street race anymore, especially around a military post lol. Thats the last thing I need is getting my commission taken away cuz I was driving like a madman lol.

Very true. Too bad the drag strip down here is closed for the winter already. It's only an 1/8th mile, but its better than nothing!

I had a ride in a GT C/S. It just seems as though it had an interior /exterior package. Nice car but power wise it's the same as a GT.

ground effects, 2 tone interior and some striping, and i believe the exhaust tips, thats about it

power wise, it's the same, if anything it's going to be a couple hundreths slower just due to weight

CS package is just an appearance package. 07 and up 3.55s are an option (05 and 06 was std with a MT) 07 and up 3.31 are std and 3.55 was an option. So there may be a slight gear difference between the cars. So come spring LINEM UP!

Well yeah but we all graduate here like December 19th and leave for our respective duty assignments lol. I guess I'll just have to goad him into meeting me somewhere to race, since he seems so intent on doing it.
