Has anybody used the Jegsterr cage kit for a fox? I'm getting ready to cage my notch, and am between the Jegster kit and the S&W race car kit. The Jegs kit is $120 cheaper, because I can go pick it up in C-bus, but I've heard they dont fit very well. Allthough they arent notched or anything, which makes me think they just cut them too loose. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks, Bran...:bigthumb

Steves LX has a jegster/summit cage that I sold him.
The only thing is about those is they cut all the tubes long so you can make it any way you like.
Do you have a backseat?

The Wild Rides kit We put in my Coupe is awesome! We didnt have to cut or notch a single tube, it had excellent directions. And the main hoop is wide in the car (not skinny like some kits) Plus the seat belt bar was already welded in when it showed up. And they ship truck frieght. It's a couple extra bucks on the front end, but saves tons of time during the install. You do have to supply your own seat belt tabs though.

Jegs kits are junk, Wild rides aren't bad, the Wolfe kits are the best.
Are you planning on doing it yourself?

A friend of mine Helped me install a roll bar kit in my car. With the amount of time It took to install it I would have rather given up some Cash for someone to install it.

I have a jegs kit and unless i ended up with a better kit by mistake mine is really nice. It depends on what you are doing with the car. I think the Jegs kit is nice.

If your going to buy a kit, I would go wolfe. It's a little more expensive, but worth it in the long run. I have a vert, so my cage had to be custom bent, which is another great option, more expensive, but you can have it exactly how you want it.

I am in the process of installing a S&W bar in my car. It is an ok kit, but it's taking more work to install than I anticipated. Most of the tubes need some sort of adjustment to fit correctly. If I had it to do again I would buy a better kit(Wolfe,Wild Rides) or let Rob take care of it.

Yea, I plan on doing it myself, my friend and I have done a few cages in the past with nice turnouts. I jsut remembered we used a jegs kit on an 02 gt we built, and it turned out nice, but I didnt like the door bars. I want the general 10 point, but with low door bars, which jegs offers a low door bar option as well... Hey Rob, what kinda price do you get for building a 10 point?

Is it just the way people are notching them or what? I hear some with jegs kits that say they love them. I also hear some say they hate them. I was just thinkin ,aybe it's all in the person installing them. What do you tinhk???
