I have a 87 mustang GT that I am in the process of building. I am building for north of 700 rwhp. I know the 87's use speed density in leiu of the MAF put on the 88's and up. I know there is a conversion for MAF. Should I convert to MAF? If so what "kit" would you recommend with a 700hp+ setup? Maybe I should keep the MAP setup with a standalone computer????

700hp, will require MAF conversion or standalone system. Stock any computer wont handle that, but speed density (im a fan of, currently tweaking with myself) probably max out well before that, i proved you can put 24lb injectors in, but still those would fall well short on a boosted application making 700. How do you plan on making that kinda power? Im guess stroked aftermarket block and boost?

standalone would be best overall option, but maf would work, stock speed density setup wont work for your needs tho
