Can anyone tell me why my one slick is wearing funny on the inside? It is the one on the passenger side. From the edge over about 3 inches or so its all rough and the rest of the slick is smooth. I gues the best way to describe it would be its like fish scale looking or coruroy material like. They are MT ET Draggs 26X8.5

Isn't that on your bad wheel?
Since they are a soft compound wear is accellerated... and the vibrations of the wheel going down the track could be causing that wear...
Maybe...

That was my original thought but this just started. I have been running those since April with no problems.

Maybe you were on something(rough spot or something) when you did a burn out.

Raise the rearend and see if there is up and down play. If so, it may be time to install wheel bearings.

unless you have something bent, or bad axle bearing, next to a rough spot as shannon said. Nothing on a solid axle could cause one to wear and not the other...

You'll also have to probably take off your rear brakes as well, in order to get any movement out of your axles...
