It would be real hard to do it with just horsepower numbers. You need a good tranny, car, suspension, and lots of time and $$. Dyno sheets are only worth the paper they're printed on, there's alot of variables that come into play.

my car is posted in the projects on here and it has an 8 point cage and frame ties and will be running my t-5 till it breaks and have new 3:55 in the rear end and have a brand new set of 275-40-17 nitto drag radials

Let me save you some money. Sell the T-5 now while its still worth something and put a better transmission behind it, because it will break. A decent built C4 would be a good foundation to get you where you want to go. Like Junk said, there's too many variables to say what the car will do at the track, but the power should be there, its all going to come down to making the suspension work.

Which 5 speed tranny will hold up

I'd run a lower gear, than that 3:55. I'd switch to 4:10s, at least.

And from listening to others, the Nittos don't seem to hook very well.

My engine made 600 to the flyweel and 435 to the wheels at 2900lbs with me in it is has gone a best of 9.97 on motor in killer air. It runs 10.teens -10.25 in the heat. Faster on the juice. First weekend out it ran 10.99 I think the Nitto radials wont last long and the t-5 wont either. I run a 4.10 and 28x10.5 S mickeys and 60ft in the high 1.3s low 1.4s on motor

If your looking for ET, I still think a C4 is the way to go, but any of the 3, 5 speeds would work fine. I think a Tremec is notchy, doesn't shift smooth like a T5, but some guys love them. Maybe some of the guys with Gforces can chime in. I don't know anyone running a liberty, but they make excellent high end transmissions.

I think a glide c-4 c-6 th400 is going to hold up better at that power level and be easyier to keep reliable on a budget. G-force t-5, liberty 3550s and tremecs are good transmission but you would be pushing the limits of those they might work for a while but they will become problems. Nash Jerrico Richmond Real libertys and G-forces are great manual transmissions that will take alot of abuse. Problem is they are big bucks. You can get a c-4 glide th400 that will live at your power level for around a $1000 You can buy a Neal chance bracket glide for $1000 that is supost to handle 800hp

A 'glide, a loose converter and a transbrake. That'll solve all your problems.
