I am looking to pick up a computer for my fater. It does not have to be very good. Just has to be able to hold a few pictures and surf the net. He is a good old country boy and wants to try this new invention called the internet! I have a monitor, keyboard, mouse so if anyone has something cheap and local to the west side let me know.

Just so you don't get taken for a ride...Don't buy any thing with less than a P4 or an AMD 3000+. You only need a gig of ram and 20gig hard drive. You shouldn't spend more than $150.

thanks ...picked one up today. P4 2.8g 40gig hd with 1g of ram for $110
