I have been tossing the idea around lately to throw a 5-speed in the coupe when I put the 429 down in it...
What would work and what are my choices??
I would really like to go 5-speed and not a 4-speed
I DO NOT want to bash in my trans tunnel or anything like that!

Tko 500 at the very least if you are not going to be racing but the 600 would probably be a better choice. I've thought about the same thing but may just end up putting a gear vendors behind the c4 eventually.

Well, this idea might as well go down the drain now. I talked to the fellow who was going to sell me all the parts needed for the swap... and his old shop got broken into sometime between when he moved out and yesterday... and the low-rent fuckin thieves STOLE everything!!! All the big-block swap parts and a ton of other stuff...
So the big block car will be no more. I can't afford to buy all this stuff new. :(
I can still get a set of mounts and a pan which I will still get, but heck... I practically had everything...
So I guess it's getting a 302/351 now :(

What sort of bellhousing would be needed to run a big block and a tremec? If I wanted a cable clutch?
