Does anyone know how much I would have to mill my heads to get them from 64CC to 58 or 56CC?

Well, what is your compression ratio right now?

I looked mine up and it's 9.1:)

It would take some to mill it.Then im pretty sure that your lower intake mating surface to the head would be comprimised.Since your lowering the head further to the block surface,it wouldnt be a very tight seal.Might want to get some more opinions though.

Well right now I am at 9.5:1 and you my friend are full of sh!t with your 9.1:1 ratio. You are at 10:1.:)

rule of thumb is .05 per cc .30 is usually max on most heads before intake machining required

I don't think this needs to be said, i'm sure everyone knows, but remember that milling heads also takes away from your piston to valve clearance, so keep that in mind when selecting your cam. I wanted to do my heads, but it's a good thing i didn't or else the cam i have wouldn't have cleared.

Yes I know. My pistons have been cut for up to .650 lift.

I did and guess what I found? I found different compression ratio's for that year and the reason behind that is Ford started using the GT40 iron heads as well on the 99's. Those are 64CC heads and that my friend will take your compression straight south of the border vs the GT40P headed motors. So the compression ratio you found is going to be for a gt40 headed motor and not a P headed motor.
