Sell me one.

From my cold dead hands...

Seriously, I bought my first V1 to go in the Cobra after the first (and only) ticket in that car, 6 years ago now. Can't elieve I've had this car for 6 years. Anyways, I felt naked without one in my DD, so I bought a second for the truck. I hardwired both to switched power, so there's no wires hanging down, and no turning it on and off either.

Plattner01, I've had various radar detectors for nearly 20 years now- Unidens, BELs, and Escorts, and it's V1 all the way. Don't spend your money on anything else.

Pretty much. Once you've had a V1 for 2+ weeks, there's zero chance you'll switch to anything else. I've had mine since spring of 2000, and the only way I'd get rid of it is if they came out with a V2 or something.

I have escorts, 3 of them and I love em. Escort and then V1 is my next pick on radars.
