When I do the big block car I am wondering if I should just go with a manual Rack in it?
I'm not sure if I'll be able to do what I want witht he front of the motor to make it serpentine immediately, So I thought about just eliminating the power steering and going that route... so what type of cheap racks are there out there?
I'd like something with a decently quick ratio for easy steering with a 650lb. engine in the front!

I would...I did a flaming river unit off ebay for(fox body) 165.00 shipped ..bought the 1" longer outers from flamingriver(24. each )and the steering shaft adapter for 90.?...works great!...Shannon (kenbellcobra) bought an ebay kit directly from the people selling it(was cheaper) no name rack(looks just like the flaming river unit), tie rods, steering shaft for I believe 400.00?or less..pm him and ask.hes had no issues(quick ratio also)...:bigthumb

Flaming River has a kit, complete with rack, tie rod ends, bushings and steering shaft.
Half way decent price too. And are available, in quick ratio.
