I get my car back from getting the wheel bearing fixed yesterday. Which was done 2 minutes from my house. I'm on my way home and pull down the hill toward my street and a lady is parked in the hill talking to these kids. So i stopped 30 feet behind and wait for her to move. While i was waiting i was looking at my old hub and wheel bearing and next thing i know the ladies car is halfway up my hood. She said she didn't see me and that she was turning around to go back up the hill.

Might get more with a lawyer, but there is his or her share of the winning as well... Just something to think about.

I should of got Maaco  I took my car to the dealer to get fixed... Well They did a terrible job... I think they painted it outside... Orange peel is bad and dirt in paint in spots... The paint spidered on the rear bumper which i paid out of pocket for because it didnt happen in the wreck... They glued the headlight bracket back together... I have ridges left in my front facia that should of been sanded out before paint... Also a list of other things... So they told me to bring the car in monday and they would check over the stuff and fix it...

Then on my way to work last night it over heated on me... Come home this morning looking it over to find out when it over heated it blew the head gasket...

So i looked around to see what cause it to overheat and figured out the problem... They broke the connector on the fan motor and instead of replacing the connector they siliconed it back together Well i guess the silicone didnt hold after some driving and heat and it came apart enough that it wasn't getting a connection anymore... And to think this all came from a 5 star dodge dealer...

I called the general manager to send a tow truck monday to pick it up... And he said i have to drive it in... Granted it spits out a ton of water and heats up in a heartbeat... Then kept mentioning the insurance company this and that.. When the insurance company already covered there cost... When it was them the dealer that siliconed the connector and did a shitty paint job... And also parts on the bill that they never even replaced...

This is why I ONLY work with people I trust. My P5 had $8k in damage, but it was flawless when I got it back. I t-boned a minivan going about 50 mph (he turned in front of me).

That blows man. I would be raising all kinds of hell over half assed work like that. You might want to check their reputation with the BBB and ask around before taking your car to anyone to work on. This is why I turn my own wrenches and I have ONE body guy that is allowed to even look at any of my cars.

Holy shiz, that is a crappy paintjob. Hopefully you get it taken care of and it's good as new- that would be about my luck too. Only thing I have done is backed into a concrete pillar....in a parking lot when I first got my car, which still needs repaired :(

Wow why did they have to cut on the bumper to get it to clear the hood latch? And from the gap it looks like they didnt use a OEM bumper. And you can clearly tell that is brand new silicon on that harness. If it was older then it would be dirty looking like the rest of the parts around it. Thats shitty they are doing you like that. Good luck!

I have it at another dealer now... There are trying to work with the insurance company to get it fixed right... But if it doesn't work out the lawyer said I still need another shops word that it wasn't done right and an estimate to fix the damage so he knows what kind of money to go after...
