I had a great time today other than my last pass. After not being able to do a burn out because they didn't put enough water down. I just went ahead and rolled up to the line and launched. I spun the tires throwing rocks and crap off my slicks and short shifted at 4800 to 2nd gear hopeing to get a bite on the track and some how ran a 11.57@116 MPH with a 1.59 60 foot. I definitely need a new clutch but other than that I cant complain too much. I had 2 other passes which were 11.61 and 11.60 with a best 60 foot of 1.56.

Just good enough to get my NHRA license. Tristate wasn't hooking very well for me yesterday. Think it's time for a new pair of shoes for the car. Ran a 10.03 at 136, 10.02 at 136, and a 10.009 at 137. Was about .03-.04 off what the car 60'ed at KilKare with the same tuneup.

I had New tires and still was off a good .05 in the 60ft. The track was not that great.

I think the 3 passes over 136mph qualify.

I haven't had any luck there this year. Edgewater got me two 1.5x sixty foots Friday night. Tri-state seemed better last year.

I went 1.38 :) then the car kinda bounced a little. Best 1/8th mile I got was a 6.17 With the 3.73 gear back in it would have picked up my times to the 9.40-50's

Hmmm...I had to make 6 passes.A couple 60's,couple half track hits and a couple full 1/4's.

Same here....4 partial/moderate passes...then 2 in the et/speed range of the license your trying to get. I was really trying to run a 9.99...that's what the track manager wanted to see. But the NHRA rule book states that you need a license if you run 9.99 or under et OR faster than 135mph in the 1/4. Since I ran 3 passes of 136 or faster he signed off on my paperwork. Going to lean on my nitrous tune some...after talking to a few people I have it my tune very safe (ie. slow).
