Hi
Well I bite the bullet and bought and mounted some slicks. Thanks, Matt!!

Mickey Thompson 26x10x15 ET Drag Slick

Well questions.... What kind of tire pressure should I start out with??
guessing .. i'd say around 15psi??

Pretty healthy burnout or just clean them off??

Understand the high end could be different??

Couple thing I would like to happen....
Better 60ft.
With my 325x50x15 (28 inch dia.) dr's I shifted to fourth close to the finish line, with these 26 in. dia. tires should be in 4th much earlier and get a better run, more speed better time?

Anyway should be interesting..

OH YEAH!!!!

11-12 psi.
Get the smoke rolling over the trunk and roll out while still in throttle.

4000 minimum launch....
Hang on!! :bigthumb

You'll be fine Steve.

I never do big smokey burnouts. Just clean them off and when you see the smoke rolling, pull on up. Like Craig said, start at 12psi. and drop them by a quarter of a pound of psi. I wouldnt go below 11psi.

Good luck!!!

but one thing you have to remember... as the tempeture outside drops you'll need to add air to compensate.

i take an air tank that i fill up at the shop before leavign for when it gets cooler out.
