Overall, i'd say the volcano sauce is pretty tastey. It's hotter than fire sauce but not as hot as your typical entry level "serious" hot sauce. Here's a funny story to go along with it...
Me and my son stopped at the Bell and ordered a casadilla combo to split. I asked the guy to put volcano sauce on the TACO because i was eating that part. I get the order and we sit and start eating. He immediately sees chicken in it and starts chowing down (he's a little picky about Taco Bell and doesn't like spicey foods). I grab mine and get a bite and immediately i know something is up because this doesn't taste like it usually does. I peal it open and this thing is drowned in volcano sauce...they put it on everything. So, i don't say anything, i just wait for a reaction.
A few bites in, he's reaching for his drink. He keeps saying over and over "Man, this is delicious! Man, this is spicey!!"
His face was sweating but i think he liked the taste of it enough to stick it out and fight through the burn. This may well be his first step into hot food manhood
