You'll find many of these same types of scams on Ebay. Such as 40 Ford street rods for 12k, all steel 32 rods for less than 20k. I think the hook is that someone will see the pic, description and price, get caught up in the "deal of a lifetime" feeling, fall for the scam and send money.

You know what really sucks... I know where there is a 30's 5-window ford rat rod running around... and the guy really does only want $1,500 for it... when he feels like selling it which changes daily from what I hear about the guy. I've seen the car as well, and I would die to have it. :drool:

Some people do that crap for attention. Right now there's a 1980 PPG Pacecar sitting in the woods rusting to hell and back. Some guy on 4eyedpride found it and got a bunch of pics of it. The guy who owns it won't let anyone touch it...it just sits and rots. That car is like one of 2 that ever existed. It's so stupid.
