Sweet hot rod

Saw this today and thought it was worth sharing. It was at Middletown's air/car show. It's a 32 ford with a Alfa v8 with a homemade weber setup! I think it said it was like 158 cid. I talked to the owner he just wanted to do something a little different. He also said he takes it up to 8500 rpm! Its all aluminum too.

I like it! It's nice to see these hot rods with something besides a sbc or sbf. If I made one, it would have a Nail Head Buick (of course:lol:) in it. Those engines look cool to me.

That's pretty badass...i really appreciate the oddball stuff like that so much more than the high dollar chromed everything Chevy/Ford engine stuff. If you've seen one you've seen'em all. Another one i like is the turbo diesel ratrod...i think it's been posted here before.

I've wanted one with a classic engine in it. Grandpa had one in the 50's that he and a few buddies stripped down and shoved a bigger engine in (can't remember what). He has some pretty good stories about it. :D
