ok now that I have figured out that problem on to the next on a 95 GT the power wire is split on going to the starer motor the other going to the battery I am putting the battering in the truck as most people do what do I need to do for it to work

If I am not mistaken, the power wire splits and goes to the starter and the underhood fuse box? :confused:

Just find longer cables and ends that will work correctly and simply move your battery to the trunk.

Advance Auto parts has nice brass ends for battery calbles that are easy to crush onto the new cable.

You might have to end up using 2 separate cables since the cables have to go in two different places, and just wire it up the same as it sits now.

Then again, Is it completely necessary to move your battery to the trunk?
