i dont have the stuff to reprogram chips but i do have a pocket screwdriver lol!
im not sold on the whole tune thing i guess,i hate waisting money paying someone to wrench on my car.id rather do it myself.
old school yes i am.
my old school ride runs ok.
what exactly are the advantages of a chip?,what exactly is being changed?
if i paid $100-$150 for a tune and picked up 10 horse id feel jipped! now pick me up 30hp id be ok with that!

It all depends on your combo as far as gains. NA combos aren't going to see the gains like a boosted would. But you can buy a chip, have the rev limiter raised, leave the rest alone. If you ever decide to get a tune, you would already have the equipment to do it. With having spray there could be gains in power and safer on equip, less likely to pop a head gasket or melt a piston. You can buy a used chip for around $150, which is probably cheaper than an extender. Plus you can adjust the calibration of inj. size with a chip. Also if you get a flip chip, you can always do a n/a tune, and a n2o tune. Just my 2 cents.
