I bought this a month ago as a rolling chassis. The car sat under a tree for about 2 years. I got it running two weeks ago and had the hood painted and graphics put on last friday. I plan on changing front bumper cover this weekend. Future plans include window tint, changing interior over to all black, stereo, happy gas, and more suspensions mods. I have never put decals on a car before, I'm trying something new. I'm sure not everybody will like it, but over Labor Day weekend I felt like a celebrity while driving thru town, WOW what a response!!!! I will post pics of the car in the sunlight soon, it's really bright! :lol: Thanks For looking, Troy

The car sat for a few years and had a bunch of crap in the tank, I put the glass filters on to see the progress of it getting cleaned out. I agree, I don't like the looks, but I kept getting crap in my carb and causing the needle and seat to stick open and flood it out. I will probably change it out this winter. Thanks for the compliment Craig.

Stock 88 5.0, went 13.96 @ 96.89 mph last wednesday at test and tune in Muncie. 1.848 60 ft time (loose converter and et streets)

I installed a F-cam, mac headers, 351 heads with mild port work w/crane springs, and Harland Sharp roller rockers this week. So, we'll see, maybe a high 12????

Well it's going under the Knife. It goes in this week to get tubbed and caged. I have everything for my 514 to put it together. I picked up the heads from getting ported and polished last Saturday. My dist., intake, valve covers, digital 6 box, cam & lifters, and wires showed up this past Thursday. I'm going to assemble the motor this coming Monday. I will post more pics during its surgery. Here's a list of new mods for this year--

D3 open chambered heads, extensively P&P w/ 7/16 studs and guide plates

Got the wheels sitting pretty close to where I want and I got the front suspension installed. The new frame rails for the rear will be in on Monday. I got the motor plates, and fuel cell in today. I also got the steering wheel installed with the quick release to make it easier to get in and out of. I also got my fittings and adapters in to install the manual master cylinder and line lock.

Installed quick release on steering wheel, Steering wheel has 2 momentary switches on it. I got the seats mounted securely. I'm putting swingouts on both drivers and passenger sides.

I will definetely keep that in mind. I running 3" flows. They are fairly quiet until your on the gas and then they wake up.

Trying to get ready for the Indy HP Fastest Street Car Shootout, I'm going to try to qualify for the quick 8. Just got a Edelbrock NOS kit, going to spray 200 shot if it will hook. Still not real street worthy, runs too hot for my liking and the brakes suck. I have manual brakes with stock fronts and wilwood rear and the car won't hardly stop, good pedal, but just seems like a lack of pressure. If any body has any ideas, let me know.
