We took Vinny Barber's 3v 88mm Turbo 2005 Mustang to the NMRA Columbus race to try and run an 8.

First pass on about 20psi
Ramped the boost in slow
1.417
3.86
5.88@121
7.633
9.11@154.67
Lazy out of the hole
Next pass it was pretty hot and over 3000 ft DA
1.407
3.83
5.86@121.54
7.60
9.084@151.87
This morning it was a bit cooler but we were rushed to the lanes and the car wasn't warmed up properly. Car almost stalled when he released the transbrake
1.656
4.044
6.024@124
7.73
9.18@155
Without the issue off the line this would have been our 8. He did win the round so we had at least 1 more shot at the overall record (8.89/dual power adder) . But we were very happy to have the single power adder record, especially in this weather. 155 mph ain't too shabby either.
Second round it was hotter with the Density Altitude at around 2800 feet.
1.419
3.823
5.822@123.02
7.540
8.997@154.19
To run an 8 in that weather at 3,500 lbs. we were more than happy. This is at about 20-21 psi so we have alot more left in it. That car is capable of running sub 1.35 60's. So the next time we are out, we are shooting for some 8.5's - 8.7's.
Modular Depot would like to thank Vinny for giving us this opportunity to build the baddest 3v in the World. Thanks goes out to all the companies that make the great parts to make it all happen and the great Team at Modular Depot that made it all come together.
Here is a video of all the runs.
