Finally....in the 9's

Well...several years ago while both mine and Vinny's cars were in pieces still during our build projects we both promised each other that both our cars were gonna run in the 9's if not faster. Well guy...I finally did it:bounce:. I went to a track rental day at Kilkare today (along with Jenn, her dad Chuck, and Timmado). I got 6 passes in...could have gotten 5 times that many if I wanted to.
Ran a new best on motor of a 10.99 at 122.9 with a 1.57 60'
With a 175 shot it went a best of 9.92 at 136.8 with a 1.44 60' (6.35 at 110.5 in the 1/8):D
Ran 4 other 9 sec passes (.95/.96/.99/.99) playing around some with the suspension and timing a bit.
I think there is still a bit more to find in the car..I feel it should 60' a bit faster. I really think it would pickup with a converter that's a few hundred rpm looser.

Big thanks to Timmado for the tuning help today. Also gotta thank Craig @CS and all the Dedpedal gang.

Nope..the duck tape tach mount has been replaced by a autometer mount on the A-pillar bar of my cage.

Later in the year possibly. Need to get my liscense passes done. Not sure if I'll go as high as a 250....200 yes...225 maybe. Don't want an expensive set of paper weights (holey pistons).
