Had a great autocross event today. I didn't do as well as I could have. This video is of my last run which wasn't my best, but it was OK. Had a couple of SNAFU runs which I didn't realize until someone told me I was going off-course for each of my first 3 runs. On my 4th, I coned out. My best run was my 5th, but the video quality was pretty bad so I didn't convert it.

Oh well, it was fun. Let me know what you think

I would love to do that, I just don't have a place and a car for it. Not really sure who the turbo 4 would do...???

It's super fun. I like doing it. I really like open tracking, though. This was only the 2nd time out this year for me.

Where was this?

Near Cleveland/Akron. Remember I'm a northerner.

Mid-Ohio is about 2 hours SW of me. I hope to get there this year.

Aaron and Simi

Sunday, we prepared for auto-x event at Northfeild Park harness racing facility. Nice place, but very "gravely". Friends and family were close by so, ended up with 12 "VIPs" which was like F1 style pit crew. Assigned to change numbers, record tire temperatures, and spray water onto intercooler - all things I normally do. 4 of my 6 runs and 5 of Simi's 6 runs were with now nauseous passengers. They were all noobs at autocross, but now a much better understanding to how crazy we are.

It became less of a challenge and more of a free-for-all with our "Pit Crew" which actually was a lot more fun. I finished 11th overall (last year I was 4th overall) so perhaps the extra crowd was a bit of a distraction, but it also made it way more fun. Miles of smiles.
