he had a fuel line put on. it didnt get clipped all the way in, came off back fired and caught on fire.

he only had liability insurance so no go on that. wire harness is gone. got so hot underneath the battery is about 5 inches tall. I think he is going to pull all the efi stuff off and go to carb, or maybe just get another car.

I know this is a long stretch, I dont have much money, I was wondering if people had any old carb stuff laying around they could donate me, everything under my hood is gone, all wiring is gone, hood is shot, I dont want to point any fingers at all, the guy that hepled me is awesome at mustangs everyone here knows him very well, probaly one of the best, it was just a flook that this happend.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, you can come look at the car 4 your self, so you know I am not lying

Man, that totally sucks! We almost had that happen with my Factory Five Cobra replica earlier this year. The fuel line got a tear in it and was squirting fuel everywhere. Fortunately we caught it before it burst into flames, just tons of smoke. Hope you can get back on the road, good luck!

That does suck. One thing to consider, part it out. You would be very surprised at how much you can get for those stangs parting them out. The airbags alone sell for 450.00 all day on ebay.

I bet you could part it out, and have enough cash to buy another one just like it. I did really good parting out the 2 stangs I had.

It takes a lot of time, but there is good money in it.
