New HP record on Cincy Speeds Dyno.....

Old HP record was the Evil 666.

New record is 835HP@6250 with 18psi.....needs more boost :cool1:

Congrats guy, its been a Looooong time coming. Glad I could be apart of the build.:)

I expect vids very soon!!!:rockon:

Yes it has been a long time coming, over 5 and a half years. It was a happy and disappointing day. Yes it made some killer power, but there was a lot left on the table. I'm not making excuses, but here is the story. At 6200 it had 18lbs of boost and stayed right there, very linier. It was like a turbo car, the boost did not climb like a supercharger car.:confused: I think maybe the spring it the blow off valve was only holding about 18psi. The setup should have good for 25 to 30 psi easily!:eek:

But still for 6200, that is good power. Now to find the bug and squish it!

With 25psi and some good air we now know it should make at least 1000hp to the wheels!:rockon:

I would like to thank a few people that have really helped me a lot! Craig at Cincy and Rob at Rigid!:cheers: These two have really helped me and when things are tight and to the wire they came through.

Also a few others like Timido, Joe, Jeff, Kenny,and our good friend VINNY! :angel:Thanks Again.

666 was Torque...NOT HP.:o Terry is about 30-60 shy of the record. But Im sure a pulley change will fix that.:rockon:

Yup, I now have a nice two piece input shaft. We even had a nice Vasco shaft that was ringed... now to put in a unringed one and see if that will hold.

It must have been weak or something, I didn't even get to put any power to the ground when it broke.:rolleyes:

What happened?

Mine I tried to easy out like a stop light on DR's. Did not work, I guess you got to hit them hard to load them up. It makes me have a new respect for those guys who make it look easy. I've thought about making it a little easier on me and just throwing slicks on it to make it a little easier!

BES talked to Vasco yesterday and they said about 6-8 months ago they had a bad heat treat and a bunch of those shafts are breaking. They are sending me a new one for free without question and it should be here Thursday. The plan is to get it together that night and have it ready for the track Friday... again!:bigthumb
