IM STOKED!
It had to happen sooner or later.. We (my mom and I) are happy to say that we are 99.99% positive that we are adopting a new 08 black coupe to the family! I really wanted to share this with everyone because in sooo excited. Owning a mustang is one of my biggest dreams, im thrilled that its coming true!

I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to beefcake for putting most of this together for us! You have made this decision much easier :]

Cant drive it quite yet, i gotta take my written in the next week or so but ill still be in the old chevy blazer for a while..

ALSO im gonna need a sbz sticker for it of course, so if someone could hook me up with that, it would be great! Oh and the plate will say JR5OH so then you'll know its me! Ahhhh im so happy!

By the way i've been having trouble getting on the site lately.? Might just be the computer but i dont know.

What are they thinking? I would be thinking I would LOVE to have my Daughter in a Reliable, New car so I wouldnt have to worry about her when shes driving back and forth to work. It's kinda funny, I bought it with the intention of using it on my hatchback (which is nowhere near done) and I forgot about it until you posted this thread. I'm glad that it will be going to you for your first stang.

I still remember buying it from Vinny out of the trunk of his old black coupe on the old east side wednesday night snow cone cruise-ins...

when I have kids, I'd love for them to have an American car, especially a Mustang. My first car was and still is my '77 Mustang II. I learned to be responsible and drive safely because I LOVED my car and did not want anything bad to happen to it. and I am sure Amanda will feel the exact same way.

I do have nice stuff to say when the situation calls for it. If this weren't Amanda, I'm sure you wouldn't have taken this one minor comment so hard. Are you telling me that everything you say is nice? I think not. And UMTR is not all that fun. There's a lot of BS drama there too. And racing in general had lost its luster, so I sat out for a while. But I'll be back, quietly I hope(Yes, I can be quiet)

Oh, please, please forgive me Amanda, I'm just the resident bitch. Enjoy the new family car. I'm sure it will be beautiful, especially with you in it. Please post lots of pictures for all of us to see. And mostly drive safe.

in all honesty, the mustang is probably in the end a safer car to learn on than the blazer, but like most parents, she isn't going to throw her in a 20k plus car til she gets some experience

however, once she does, she'll have a very safe car with 5 stars all the way around except for rear passengers which is still a 4 star

very good choice imo

i would bet than 95% of the people on this board didn't start out driving with a car with as high of a safety rating
