Looking for a tire with the hook of a slick, but that can still be driven in true street events. I love the mt et radials, but anything over a 100 shot of spray is too much.

I've done a bunch of research on this (but no testing) and people seem to think that the ET Street Radials hook better than comparable sized ET Streets. I have read over and over that the QTPs hook better than ET Streets though.

I have also heard the quicktime pro's are great but have no personel experience.

I had a set of 325/50/15's on my car....it hated them....from a 65-70 roll it would kill them till you let out....put a set of 28/13.5/15 et streets on the car and it hooks better....From a dig they all suck on the street.Maybe next time ill try the hoosiers.

I have a set of 28x12.50 hoosier QTP's for my coupe for street tires and to run in true street. I haven't tried to run them at the track yet...figure I will do some in september before the BG nmra event. I run M/T 28x10.5 slicks at the track usually.

Ups..your right...mine are the 11.5's....but the treadwidth measures just under the NMRA true street rule of 10.75". Have you thought about running a DR...can run up to a 325.

They seemed to work good for me today on a pretty crappy track...went a 1.400 60ft
