Yeah, what he said. I will say this, he started this site, started this group of friends, and now it is a very close family. Cheers Vinny.

Vinny was a great person who had a love for cars, family, friends and wanted to be loved by all. He had a sense of humor that many loved and a personality above and beyond. He was crazy in many ways, but most of all it was to get a laugh. He enjoyed living life to the fullest and never wanted to grow up. His hobbies in life included not only cars, but playing in a band and writing music.
It all began on March 5, 1969 when he was born in Canton, Ohio. He grew up in Canton with his parents, Lester and Janet and one sister, Deanne (that's me!). He attended Canton South High School and in his senior year, he ran for class president...and won. He defeated Mike Mittas who had been the class pres for the previous 3 years. In his school days, he maintained many friends, but one in general, Harvey, that grew to be a brother to him. Throughout high school, Vince was into engineering and mechanical drawing. He played football in his junior and senior year. He had a few hell raising moments with his old man throughout these years as well. After graduation, he attended a few semesters at the University of Cincy until failing out. From there, he worked a few jobs doing engineering. He met his first wife at CG & E. They had one daughter, Amanda. After a couple years, he was divorced and a few years later, he married Angie. After a few years later, he divorced again and a few years later, he met Holly. And a few years later, they were married. Some would say a few years too late, others would say in just enough time. She became family to me the weekend after my wedding when she helped move me into my new house. Vince enjoyed Holly because she let him be a kid and have his toys and fun, yet still keep him grounded into reality. On March 14, 2005, Vinny created Stangbangerz.com for mustang fanatics to hang out and talk, perhaps even get together. I can't tell you how many hours of video I had to watch everytime he came to Canton. He was so proud that he had organized 75 mustangs and they were all on 275. He was proud of how he was able to pull together so many people who loved cars/mustangs as much as he did. Thank you to everyone who joined up together on the old boards and on the new ones as well. Unfortunately, he was taken from Holly and the rest of us on February 7, 2007 from a heart attack. He was preceded in death by his father in September of 1999, who also had 2 open heart surgeries.
I had my battles with my brother growing up. I was his guinea pig when he and Harvey built ramps, I was the one who went over them first. I disliked my brother many times because he would pick on me. He would hold me down and pull every one of my toes until they cracked. He would sit on me and hold my arms down and poke a finger on my chest and forehead just to make me scream. He would make me get everything for him because he was the "older" brother. I was a bit jealous of him at times as well for having everything and at times it seemed like he was "the golden child." But all that is gone now and I would give anything to have him back for a day. I know he's watching over us all; at times laughing, maybe even crying at the shit he sees. But I know he's proud of what he's done...good and bad.
But yeah....search Vinny and you will see! Check out his posts, especially the photoshop wars he had with Kevin and Matt!

Thank you for that post Deanne. I was actually thinking about starting a thread like this some time ago. For someone who is newer to the board and never got the pleasure in meeting him.

I was proud I wrote it without crying like a baby...
Exactly why I didn't write a book about it, I wasn't in the mood to sit here and cry all night.
