87 Mustang GT $2000 OBO
I got a mustang & can't really keep it having 3 kids...
It's an 87 5.0L "GT" mustang (ground effects?) with automatic transmission.
It has been lowered and sits damn near on the ground.
It has a nice (supposedly $400 value P.O. said) cold air intake into the fender.
It has a baby NOS bottle under the hood but I don't see any plumbing for it (not that I'd know what to look for...)
It has a real nice 6" fiberglass cowl hood on it with hood pins.
I couldn't find any rust, so body appears to be in great shape, comes with car over of unknown brand.
It has a locker or something in the rear end cause both tires turn almost in unison, no real delay in traction from either side on takeoff on corners, straightens right out immediately & marks in the yard/driveway show it, lol.
I just put a new headgasket, intake gasket, exhaust gaskets, etc on it cause it needed a headgasket job.
It's currently in white primer that doesn't look half bad. All the badges, etc were removed when the P.O. primered it.
It gets down the road real nice, but needs drove. It sat at the P.O.'s house for 3 years & I've only put about 1/2 mile on it since I rebuilt it. (no tags) it has trouble starting cold sometimes but a quick shot of ether fixes that right up, starts perfect after that every time??? Could also be because it's been sitting???
Here's the misc stuff:
Doorpanels are for power windows, drivers window is crank though???
Interior needs cleaned badly.
Drivers outside door handle broken, but still opens the door.
Has aluminum 10-holes(?) but missing 2 centercaps.
No door locks (removed by P.O. & he lost the keys to the locks)
Needs OEM temp sensor, P.O. had aftermarket sensor installed for gauge pillar, but removed pillar gauge.
Has a bit of trouble stopping but brakes could probably be flushed & that would clear it up (again, it sat 3 years)
Pics coming later.
