A buddy of mine is looking for a cowl hood for his 82, can't seem to find one anywhere cheap.

Good luck with that. I've been looking for a decent/affordable '79-82 hood for 4 years. The only company i even know of that sells them is Maier Racing and they want $440 for them. They are nice but damn, that's a lot of coin for a hood.
