I remeber going down to Edgewater for Funny car nights and jet car nights. On jet car nights the cars would toss burning chunks of flaming rubber into the fence where it would hang and burn! Mark Oswald, Kenny Bernstein, Big Daddy, Don Prudohme, Cha Cha....wow the names that have taken a pass or two. And a few even ended up in the river!

yep, I was working at Sheraton Springdale when a few teams parked their haulers there before heading into Edgewater.

I can't remember which fuel team it was, but they were doing a block swap in the parking lot :)

I was still in HS, dad chewed my ass out when I didn't get home until 1am, but once I explained he cut me some slack. What really happen is it worried mom I hadn't came home yet.

Who here in thr right mind wouldn't have done the same?
