Wanted to do some major work to the car.... I was thinking of completely taking everything apart and sandblasting the car, fixing all rust, and painting. Wanted to know what the best way to do this is and if there is anyone who does the sandblasting of the body. I know there is a place around me where you can put the car on the rotisserie(spu thing and sandblast the entire car, but wasn't sure if this is something I can handle? All help and input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Brandon

If you are wanting to do it all yourself and need the equipment.

www.eastwood.com has about everything you would need at good prices.

I recommend soda blasting over sand when it comes to doing the body parts. Sand can cause warpage in sheet metal and its a bitch to get out of every nook and cranny. At our shop most of the rotisery restorations get chemical dipped. Much easier to metal finish when its bare.

Hey Brandon, there is a place right off 128 and New Haven rd, call American Reclaiming. I think they do soda and sandblasting.
