Like that would effect the moisture in the kernals,lol. At work we typically have to heat up oil past a 300+ degrees F to do that to cause enough pressure in the kernal for it to pop. Below that the will not pop.

BTW I pop popcorn for a living,lol.

Anyway if some one could do that in matter of seconds they would be rich since a typical pop time is about 3 minutes using a hanging kettle like seen in Movie theaters.
